Open Space Gallery presented Western Front and PUMPS at Open Space, a multi-media exhibition.
"Western Front and PUIMPS are two of Vancouver's 'parallel galleries' and artist-administered centres. Both are run by professional artists who are involved in collaborative, interdisciplinary artistic endeavors. Each centre serves as a residence production area and exhibition space for in-house and guest artists"

The Western Front exhibit included recent works and multimedia presentations by Kate Craig, Eric Metcalfe, Glen Lewis, Martin Bartlett, Michael Morris and Vincent Trasov. PUMPS' exhibited recent works by John F. Anderson (photography. sculpture), Keith Donovan (graphics), Roy Arden (photography), Sanda Janz (photography), Christopher Reed (color Xerox), Kim Tomzak (photography), R. Dick Trace it/ IDEA (assemblage and photo collage), John Mitchell (Video and Gordon Kidd (film).
Gordon Kidd's films were presented on Monday, February 13 at 9 p.m. The showing included five films with written pieces for three of the films.
