East Van Strings

Since its inception the compositions of the East Van Strings have taken inspiration from a wide range of sources including everything from Berg, free jazz, to Arabic taqasim, Indian rhythmic cycles, and minimalism. The unique personality of each of the members has developed East Van Strings into a unique ensemble with an exteremely broad range of expression.
