The End Of Nature

This was Tanya Mars first exhibition in Victoria. The exhibition featured new work that revolved around science, the environment and women—and their relationship to culture. A combined Visual Arts and New Theatre co-production. Two free public performances at Beacon Hill Park's baseball diamond.
Mars and four Victoria artistd collaboarated on the 45 minute show, which examined the controversial issue of gypsy moth spraying in British Columbia.
As the artist explained, "it's called the End of Nature because I really fear that nature is nearing its end, that human intervention is everywhere."
