Open Space is pleased to present the exhibition Book of Small, featuring artists Sonja
Ahlers (Vancouver), Ginger Brooks Takahashi (Brooklyn), and Sarah Cain (Oakland). Each artist is responsible for a wall of her own, and using modest materials including paper, paint, and fabric, this trio will further open up the porous divisions between art and life, art and craft, and art and architecture. Thematically and aesthetically distinct, the artists share a similar working method—equally dependent on scripting as on organic progression in situ—and a strong sense of community.
