Roo Borson, author of nine books of poetry including her most recent, Water Memory, brings her newest poems alive with the common genius of living in a strange, familiar and vulnerable world where a late-summer pear becomes the catalyst for remembering. A poet and essayist, she is a member of the performance poetry group, Pain Not Bread, with Kim Maltman and Andy Patton. Although Roo usually lives in Toronto, she will be teaching at Banff Arts Centre in October, 1998.
