ISO is comprised of 3 musicians. Drummer Ichiraku Yoshimitsu is known for his use of self-made electronics and his appearance in Omoide Hatoba's Vuoy. Ex-Ground-zero sampler player Sachiko M. focuses her individualistic sensibilities into a solid and lo-fi approach in Hoahio. Turntable player Otomo Yoshihide has greatly changed and developed his approach to music since the demise of Ground-zero. The sound-constructivist improv trio attempt to turn around the long-established emphasis on musical performanceship in improvised music.
