Mapping the Transition from Page to Screen was a one-year research project (2002-3) funded by the UK Arts and Humanities Research Board. It explored the common key moments of change for a writer moving to writing online and identified key skills which must be acquired for this transition to occur.

Instant Places is a week long visual and sound installation with concert performance on Friday evening. Instant Places is a series of installation/performances that focus activity on a particular place and time. Over the course of a week locally gathered audio and video is transformed via improvisations in an immersive space. Each project can be thought of as an evolving portrait or journal that is specific to the conditions surrounding it, while allowing indeterminate and personal forces a role in the outcome.
